Fiber Optic Response Boxes

greensticker.jpg Current Designs' fiber optic handhelds are all plastic, working entirely on light. These response devices connect to the electronic interface using the removable fiber optic bundle. A complete system is made up of at least one handheld, the interface, removable fiber optic bundle, power supply and computer cables, but can include as many handhelds as needed.

Handheld bundle standard length is 10 feet. Complete system needs removable bundle (55 feet long) and interface. Single interface and bundle work with all handhelds.

Custom Handheld Devices Special handheld devices made up with up to 8 buttons, or 4 buttons and 2 continuous directional/force sensors. We've made a wide range of special response devices for around the same cost as our standard handhelds units.

USB Trainer Handheld Devices

redsticker.jpg We also offer USB Trainer versions for our button boxes. These are electrical copies of our fiber optic response pads, allowing subjects to be trained outside the magnet environment. Available with both 2 and 4 buttons, they can be combined for up to 8 buttons. Easy to use, USB bus-powered by the USB port -- so no extra wires. User configurable through the USB port. Also includes an input for the trigger, or for an optional Screen Detector.
