Description

Current Designs' fMRI joystick is the perfect choice for a wide range of computer response tasks used in the human brain mapping project. It is non-magnetic, non-electronic, and entirely made out of plastic, so will not add noise to the images or raise safety concerns in the MR/MEG room or similarly demanding environments.

• A wide variety of outputs are available for Windows, Mac and Linux computers including both USB and Serial Mouse, gamepad, joystick, and a number of high speed serial modes for demanding applications
• Two 0.42 in. (1.1 cm) colored round buttons (green and red) positioned on base.
• Highly configurable: finger vs. grip actuator; foam inserts provide 3 different return-to-zero forces
• Finger stick: 1 x 0.35 in. (2.4 x 0.8 cm); Grip: 4.5 x 1.25 in (11.5 x 3 cm)
• Overall height: 7.0 in. (18 cm); Base enclosure: 7.25 x 4.25 x 2.25 in. (19 x 11 x 6 cm)
• 10 ft (3 m) long fiber pigtailed connector
• Requires 8-channel removable fiber optic bundle
• Active light levels for handheld identification and gain adjustment

What Else Is Needed

This handheld response device needs an electronic interface to function. Depending on the setup, a removable fiber bundle is also required.
