Repair

Use this item to order a repair of a response device, trainer, interface or bundle extension purchased in the last 8 years. Choose the item to repair and enter its serial number. To repair more than one item, add each one to your cart separately.

After you place the order, please email sales@curdes.com with a brief description of the problem and include the order number. Then send the item to us; we will repair it and return it to you.

Interfaces

For the FIU-932, the repair includes:

• Replace the fading OLED display with a higher brightness one
• Increase the transmitted light intensity
• Increase the receive circuit sensitivity
• Update the firmware

After these changes the 932 will have a clearer display and support all of our devices with an increased range of optical performance.

Bundle extensions

The repair includes replacing one or both fiber optic connectors. The bundle can be shortened to remove an area of damaged tubing or fibers, however this will reduce the length of the bundle. If the original length is needed, please order a new bundle. We will evaluate the bundle's light levels when we receive it; depending on the damage, it may not be repairable.

Age limit

This page estimates the age of your device based on its serial number. We will manually check this when we receive your order and may get in touch if the numbers don't match the device or if we need to correct the age after we look it up.

If the age is less than 1 year the repair will be normally done under warranty at no charge.

We repair our products for up to 8 years from the date of purchase. Note: the serial number should currently be about 4114100 or higher. For more information please see Terms of Sale.
