Identical copy of the fiber optic joystick response (HHSC-JOY-5-V2) device for use outside the magnet.

Version 2, redesigned in 2024, is exactly the same as the HHSC-JOY-5 in shape and feel, though the material weighs a bit less. Instead of using machined Corian, both the grip and the base are made through high-quality 3-D printing. There are big advantages to this change including: a few internal, unseen design improvements. The new version is a bit more robust. Importantly, it takes a little less time to make, so we are able to reduce the price by $100.

This device is not for use inside the magnet room: it contains metal and electronic components.
